Assalamu alaikum dear Parents,
Al-Huda School is happy to announce its 6th Annual Poetry Competition. If you would like your child to participate, please sign him/her up at the office.
Download and print the poem or stop by the office for a printed copy.
Level 1 for SK and Grade 1
Level 2 for Grade 2 and Grade 3
Level 3 for Grade 4 and Grade 5
Level 4 for Grade 6
Students will compete according to their Arabic level at Al-Huda School.
The last day to sign up will be February 26, 2023.
Students will recite the poem privately in front of judges on March 5th, 2023 with no audience.
The winner of the competition must memorize and recite the poem with clarity, expression and confidence in order to grab the judges’ attention. In addition, students should recite their poems in the manner of poetry rather than in a melodic tune (check this link for more information).
To honour our winners and participants, we will have an awards ceremony in another day.
